We all know that when we got our degrees, many books were left on our bookshelves. They needed to be taken down and put away for long term storage. What happened to all those books?There is an easy way to get rid of the books. All you have to do is to get a number from your library and get the books and bring them to your library so that they can be destroyed. If you didn't use the library, then you can do it yourself.First you should remove the books that haven't been read in over 10 year s. Why? A lot of people forget these books and keep them around for reference purposes.Now we need to find a good book to read on resume writing. Many books will help you write a resume in reverse chronological order. You don't want to read it cover to cover and expect to know what to write in your cover letter.Lastly, you want to get some new material. What did you do for your last job? Most of us have plenty of job experience, which we didn't use. If you are going to use these skills, you need to take a look at them and see if they are applicable to a new position.Once you decide what the skills are, you will then want to use these skills in your resume. Also, you need to look at your new skills. Try to add them into the sentence, because there is a point in the resume where you want to tell the reader about yourself.As you can see, we don't need to make our resumes longer than what is necessary. By writing the cover letter, biography, and resume in reverse chronological order, it is much easier to finish and more efficient.
